This was a stupid ass movie- but the book was great. I don’t think this is far to say, at least about the book.  To me, at least, it reads more like the story of one white person coming to terms with racism: how its effected her life, her families life, the life of those she loves. It’s about watching her break the “privileged, educated white kid” bubble, and learning about the world.  Not about “solving racism” /offtopicrant
