I used to go to a Christian school, and one of the songs we’d be forced to sing weekly stated “God is the way, the truth and the light. We live by faith and not by sight”. Don’t know why I thought of this, but I found it funny that they forced kids to listen/sing along to it. A nice perspective on how Christians think. -

I was taught a song like that in my church as well:

“We walk by faith and not by sight

through the day and through the night

every word of God is right

we walk by faith and not by sight”
