ellehcor7111 asked: Let's face it, strict adherence to everything the bible says people should do is literally impossible as far as I can tell. It would be an interesting experiment to watch someone sincerely attempt it though. Maybe they could make it a reality show.
Well, unless you are willing to cut off your hand, and gouge out your eyes if you use them to sin.. strictly following the bible is pretty impossible. Definitely dangerous.

SO PERFECT.
You don’t want people to tread around you with care because they’re afraid you might be a bigot like the loud majority of your group?
Find a new fucking group.
BEING AN ATHEIST IS A LOT LIKE HATING “TWILIGHT.”
- You’re expected to know every detail of the book that you don’t like. Otherwise “You just don’t get it.”
- You’re constantly in awe of how many people think it’s well written.
- All the characters are either creepy or straight up assholes.

Jesus hates your Ford.
Okay, rant time.
People are actually so awful to Christians.
I know a lot of you would say “Well, they’re awful people.” but that’s a complete stereotype!! Not all Christians are like, “LOVE GOD OR DIE.” Not all of us are like the Westboro Baptist Church, either, running around with signs that say “GOD HATES FAGS.” No, absolutely not.
I don’t think here are very many people who would actually make a blanket statement calling all Christians awful people. People who do that have much more wrong with them than just “not liking Christians” those people are who I like to call “prejudiced douchebags” and there are probably all sorts groups of people who they unjustifiably dislike.
Love God or Die? Absolutely not. I believe that everybody has the right to believe and practice whatever religion they do or do not believe in.
Thats nice that it’s what you believe. But you really don’t speak for your entire belief system. There are many Christians who actually do make death threats against the non-religious and the non-christians.
Now, obviously, those people don’t speak for you either. But please don’t minimize our experiences just because you don’t think that way.
Along that line, I think there are also a lot of people who say that they’re atheist because they think it’s the “cool thing to do” and are afraid that they’ll be judged for believing in any sort of deity. Don’t get me wrong, I believe (and KNOW) that there are actual atheists out there. People who don’t believe in any sort of deity, but I also think that there are a lot of people who say they’re atheist, as I said, to prevent from being judged for their belief.
OOOOOHHH please.
Now, maybe you aren’t from the US, and in other countries, this might be true. But in the US, Christians are an 85% majority. And atheists are an extremely disliked and untrusted minority. People in the US are more likely to lie and pretend to be a Christian than lie and pretend to be an atheist.
Anyways, back to what I said before. “God hates Fags.” UM. EXCUSE. ME. HOLD. UP. I certainly don’t believe God hates fags, maybe that’s just because I identify as someone who is sexually attracted to males and females (I don’t necessarily say I’m bisexual because I’ve never been in a situation to know whether I’d be attracted to someone who didn’t identify as male/female). Maybe it’s because I know that God forgives us for our sins and our acts, because Christ died on the cross for us.
Like I said, it’s nice that you aren’t homophobic, but what you say goes against your religious doctrine. And you are also the minority in thinking that for your religion.
If it weren’t for the Christian majority (or any religious majority, I realize if there was another religion in majority, they would probably do this too) gay marriage would be legal.
Please don’t minimize the things other people have been through because you aren’t homophobic.
Back to my original point, I don’t understand why it’s okay to mock Christians because of their faith. You wouldn’t walk up to somebody who said they are Muslim and mock them and tell them that their religion is wrong and they’re wrong for believing in it and they’re stupid for believing in it, and therefore they should not breed. I mean,
Well, I’d never walk up to anyone and mock them for their faith. Thats rude. But provoked, I’d treat a Muslim and a Christian just the same. To an atheist all religions are the same.
I know it happens, but the majority of people would NOT do such a thing. But yet, it seems socially acceptable EVERYWHERE to mock Christians. I see it on Tumblr too, all the time. Making fun of others because of what they believe?
You really can’t say thats the majority, can you?
Please stop acting like Christians are some super hated minority. Particularly if you live in the US. You don’t deserve to be treated like a special flower for being apart of your religion.
Particularly when your religion is actively oppressing an entire nation.
Have an open mind. You may not believe in any deity, but that doesn’t give you the right to mock somebody who does.
You are right, it doesn’t, but that doesn’t stop people who do believe in a diety from mocking us. It doesn’t stop them from barring us from holding public office.

God especially loves 1950’s America, that is why so many Christians are working so hard to take us back there.
Who the fuck cares about the what happend on the earth from 5 billion years ago, up until now?
Humans are the best, and America is where it’s at.
It’s like God waited all those years, just so he could finally have US.
I dont think that word (ignorant) means what you think it means…
more atheist stuff here
The people who lived 3,000 years ago obviously had a much better understanding of the world than we do.
