This fucking video, man.
This women doesn’t even know what the fuck she’s talking about. She avoids questions, and then justifies that she wants to put people in death camps because “It’s 2012”

Here is what I ended up writing.. I may or may not actually post it.
I can’t say I’m surprised about the outcome of the vote in NC. Hell, that amendment was added to the MI constitution nearly a decade ago. Regardless, here are my thoughts on the issue:
First, I hold every person who voted against gay marriage personally responsible for the gay teens who harm themselves, for gays who end their lives too early because they can’t stand being “different”, for gays who are kicked out of their homes, and rejected by their families. Extreme? Maybe. But not inaccurate. There is an enormous wave of ignorance in this country when it comes to the LGBT community, and it’s dangerous. It’s goes much deeper than simply not allowing them to marry. These laws are teaching gay americans that they should be ashamed simply for who they are. Not just for being who they are, but for showing acts of LOVE.
Second, I hate that I live in the a country where the death penalty is more widely acceptable than gay marriage. …Really? This country is more open and accepting of violence, than love. And it makes me sick. Truly. I wish everyone would just stop, for 2 minutes, and realize that love is love. Love is beautiful. Everyone is so caught up in what their partner has in their pants, they forget that we’re all just people.
At the end of the day, love is what makes this life worth living. To deny, or invalidate something so sweet and genuine between 2 people is wrong.

There is a gay marriage debate going on, on my boyfriends FB wall
Everyone in the discussion so far has been really cordial with each other, I’m realizing I’m pretty much incapable of debating gay marriage civilly.
I don’t even like people who say “I think gay marriage should be legal, because I realize it’s a christian belief, but I don’t agree with it”
It makes me really angry. All I want to say is “pull you stupid head out of you stupid ass, for like, 5 seconds. Stop pretending like you are holier than everyone else, and get the fuck over it. It’s not your job to have an opinion about who other people go to bed with at night.”
I might just post my reply here later, so I can get it out of my system, without alienating my boyfriend’s friends.

I would go gay SO HARD if it meant I didn’t have to pay taxes anymore.
No joke.
Attention NC Voters
There is a movement in NC that is standing against allowing same-sex marriage. Please vote to allow marriage between any two people who love each other.
The ignorance and/or prejudice still clearly shown in my homestate and of many of my peers here at school is breaking my heart. Please vote to allow and permit love of any kind.
Thank you.
So this is happening in the town I live in….
This man was removed from being a speaker at his brothers graduation because he’s an out gay man.
People are awful.
You do realize, Sacred Heart, the message this sends to an entire community of people, yes?
